Part-Time Therapist

A Rhaea Hope is a Northern Virginia-based group practice that offers individual and couples therapy and personal development coaching. Our mission is to help individuals live authentically by unlearning unhealthy patterns and uncovering barriers preventing them from achieving happiness, stability, and success.

A Rhaea Hope is seeking a part-time pre-licensed clinician responsible for managing a caseload of 15 clients per week. This is a hybrid position, with some in-person training and all virtual sessions. We are a fun, supportive, and professional environment. The ideal candidate can set their schedule and opportunities to create groups and workshops.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultations to potential new clients to determine the goodness of fit;

• Meet assigned client weekly, or otherwise as determined by the client’s needs;

• Provide individual therapy to clients based on their unique needs to enhance and foster the client’s optimal functioning;

• Complete Initial Assessments;

• Complete comprehensive treatment plans with the client;

• Comprehensively and accurately document all services provided and submit all documentation (i.e., progress notes, Treatment Plan, discharge summary) within 24 hours of service completion;

• Continually assess the client’s needs, service availability, diagnosis, and the appropriateness of the services provided;

• Attend weekly individual supervision and monthly group supervision;

Desired Skills and Qualifications: 

• Licensed Eligible- must hold a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university and be registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Social Work. Supervision will be provided at no cost to the selected candidate.
